What’s New in SiteZeus Locate
Territory control, faster market screening, forecasts your committee can question, and reports that stand up later. What shipped in SiteZeus Locate this Summer.
What’s New in SiteZeus Locate: Summer 2026
The Atlas release of SiteZeus Locate went live in May — automated territory creation, integrated real estate listings, chat-driven reporting. For most software companies, a release that size is the year’s big swing, and the Summer that follows is quiet.
We shipped 17 production releases between June 4 and August 1. Roughly two a week.
Some of that came from our own roadmap. A lot of it came from customers — the in-app Feedback board lets users submit ideas, vote on them, and comment, and the ideas that get traction get built. Here is what that turned into: tighter control over franchise territories, faster market screening, forecasts your committee can question, and reports that still back you up six months later.
Fewer Territory Disputes as You Add Franchise Groups
For franchise development teams, territory design is where growth either scales cleanly or turns into a dispute. Every group you add is another set of boundaries someone can question, and “trust us” is not an answer that holds up.
Territory Management puts franchise group and site access under explicit control — which groups reach which territories, and which sites they see. You configure it once instead of policing it as you grow.
The part of a territory dispute that software can actually solve is making sure both sides are looking at the same boundaries. The rest is the conversation you have with your franchisees, and that conversation goes better when the map itself isn’t in question.
Screen More Markets Without Adding Analysts
The limit on most expansion programs isn’t judgment. It’s throughput — good sites trade while the analysis is still in progress.
Site Sonar screens a market for locations matching your performance criteria, and the redesign opens it to two different people. Guided mode gets someone new to screening through a real search without training. Expert mode gets an experienced analyst there faster. Screening stops being one person’s job, which means the queue stops forming behind whoever knows the tool best.
A screen is only as good as the boundary you run it against, which is where trade areas come in. Standard trade areas support radii, drive-times, and custom polygons with scope filtering — so you can screen against how customers actually reach a site. A ten-minute drive time and a three-mile radius are different questions, and the answer changes which locations clear your bar.
What Goes Into a Revenue Forecast?
A forecast that can’t be questioned doesn’t survive a real estate committee. Someone always asks what went into the number and how the model has performed before — and if assembling that answer takes a week, the site trades without you.
Three areas of SiteZeus Locate answer it in the room. The Model Accuracy page compares a project’s model results side by side. Model Settings surfaces all major configuration options in one place. A Data Exchange tab manages the model data bundles and connections behind a project.
SiteZeus Locate analyzes demographics, competitive density, traffic patterns, customer movement patterns, consumer behavior signals, and consumer interests — and these three areas are where you see and shape how that analysis runs.
Reports That Stand Up Six Months Later
Anyone who has watched a stakeholder open a “live” dashboard and see different figures than the ones in the meeting knows the problem. The analysis was right. But the moment the numbers move under someone, so does their confidence in the recommendation.
Impact Analytics reports freeze with every resolved impact result baked in, and they share as read-only without requiring the recipient to hold data access. What you send is a defensible record of the decision at the moment you made it — so when a committee revisits that decision two quarters later, it still shows the case you actually made. The current analysis is always a click away in the app. The report is the receipt.
Project Map Report does the same for the map — freeze the view, cluster the sites, and turn what’s on screen into something you can hand to a committee. ZIP Code Report covers geographic analysis at the postal level, for teams building market plans around trade areas rather than metro boundaries.
Get Answers Without Leaving What You’re Doing
Zeus.ai is the chat capability woven through SiteZeus Locate. You ask a question in plain language and get an answer grounded in your own data. It arrived last year — the work since has been about putting it everywhere you actually work rather than in one panel you have to go find.
Picture the version you know: you’re comparing twelve locations on a map, a question occurs to you, and answering it means leaving the map, opening a separate view, re-establishing what you were looking at, and asking. Now you ask from where you are, and the same conversation follows you across the map, the analytics, and the reporting.
That sounds minor until you count how often it happens in an afternoon. Every switch is a chance to lose the thread of what you were evaluating, and evaluations get worse when the tool makes you work to stay oriented.
Ask for a report and you get one, in the same conversation. Zeus.ai Summary explains a forecast in plain language, so the reasoning behind a number is something you can read out loud in a meeting rather than reconstruct beforehand.
This Is the Pace Now
None of this waited for a launch event. When an idea gets traction on the Feedback board in June, it doesn’t sit in a queue until next May.
Coverage keeps widening on the same cadence. Canada is a fully supported country with native demographic data, so brands growing across the border evaluate Canadian sites on Canadian numbers.
If you run franchise development, start with Territory Management. If you’re screening markets, start with Site Sonar. If your last forecast got questioned in a committee meeting, start with Model Accuracy.
And check back. By the time you read this, more has shipped.
See how SiteZeus Locate can help you solve for site selection and optimization.
